What Is My Purity Test Score?

Take the test

Let's Explore the Answer

If you’ve ever struggled to fit into a peer group or wondered what was normal for your age group, in terms of life experience, you’re not alone.

It’s not uncommon for many of us to explore what others have done in their lives and wonder how we might compare. If you’re wondering about your purity score, maybe you’d like to take a purity test.

The concept of a purity test was originally designed for new college students to judge their life experiences as a point of connection with upperclassmen. Whether you have seen your share of risky encounters or you’ve played it safe for most of your life, your life experience is unique and can lead you to a greater purpose.

What Skeptics & Atheists Say

There is a prevalent attitude that we ought to explore what feels good freely. Many think that your life experiences should not necessarily matter, that no matter what you do, all that matters is that you have a good time and enjoy your life.

Some believe that exploration, with drugs, alcohol, sex, crime and other socially unacceptable behaviors, encourages identity, individuality and confidence.

However, what feels good doesn’t always feel right. Some spur-of-the-moment choices can have lifelong consequences, physically, emotionally and spiritually.

What The Bible Says

When God designed heaven and earth and when He breathed life into mankind, He designed our bodies, minds and spirits for a purpose. In the same way, God put certain rules in place that govern the world and that govern our lives.

Whether we know it or not, when we break certain rules, they can have detrimental consequences in our lives, even influencing our physical health, the health of our families and the welfare of our communities.

However, when it comes to purity no one is perfect. In fact, the Bible says that every human who has ever lived has messed up in one way or another. So, if you feel imperfect you should know that you’re not alone. You’re not weird or dirty or damaged; you’re human. Everyone around you may sometimes seem like they’re better off than you, but the truth is- they’re imperfect too.

The truth is that God loves imperfect people. Therefore, if you’re imperfect, then God loves you! He’s not surprised or shocked by anything you have ever done or thought- He loves you. The Bible says that God searches for people who feel far from him with the same fervor as a person would search for a lost diamond wedding ring. If you take the purity test today and find that you’re imperfect, this means that God is searching for you.

What would happen if you embraced the possibility that the God of the Bible really did create the world and really does care for you?

Meet New People

As human beings, we’re all born with an innate need to know others and to be known. Having healthy relationships is essential to having a full and satisfying life, but not everyone has the kind of positive, supportive, and meaningful relationships they need. Many people are even uncomfortable with the process of meeting new people and making new friends.

We believe that life is better lived in an authentic community of people who appreciate the connection to others, we’ve created a variety of environments that make it easy for you to meet new people and initiate new relationships. Regardless of where you are on your faith journey, you’re welcome to explore, learn and grow with us.

Pascal's Wager

In the seventeenth century, a famous philosopher and mathematician, Blaise Pascal, encouraged people to make a wager when it came to belief in God. If a person chose to believe in God and God did exist, that person would gain everything (eternal life). If a person chose to believe in God and God did not exist, that person would lose nothing. On the other hand, if a person chose not to believe in God and he was right, he would lose nothing. But if that person did not believe in God and he was wrong- he would lose everything (lose eternal life).

This wager can be said another way:

Based on this logic, Pascal suggested the rational person would choose to believe in God as believing offers a person everything (eternal life) while losing nothing. Wherever you are in your faith journey, would you consider taking Pascal’s wager? If the good God of the Bible exists, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain by believing in Him today.

Request a Prayer

Life can feel truly overwhelming for everyone at times, which is why people so often use prayer - or simply put, a conversation with God - to ask for hope, strength, guidance, or circumstantial change in difficult times. "Putting it in God’s hands" when we’re facing any number of obstacles can provide great comfort and peace in a world that we know is out of our own control.

The Bible teaches us that prayer is powerful and effective, both in communicating with God and in bringing peace to those who pray. We consider it an honor to be able to talk personally with the God who created us, with confidence that He listens and cares. No matter your faith background, and whatever the challenges you’re facing, we’re eager to pray for you, your family members, or any of your loved ones. There’s nothing we’d love more than to present your requests to God and pray with you.
